Return & Refund

1. What is Brijraj’s return policy?

At Brijraj, we follow a no questions asked return policy for all our products:

  1. That are received in broken/damaged/defective condition.
  2. That do not match the image/description on the website.
  3. That you do not like because of color/design/quality.

If you want to return a product, you have to file a return request within 14 days after receiving the products. After 14 days, any return requests would not be accepted. In the case of international orders (orders shipped out of India), the delivery amount will be charged for the return. Read more about Brijraj return policy.

Items under the following category will not be eligible for return:

  1. Custom stitched products.
  2. Items purchased in bulk under wholesale pricing.

2. How to raise a dispute?

To initiate the return of a product, please send an email to with the reason of return. Make sure you mention your order number. You must send the email within 14 days after the product was delivered to you. Any emails sent after that wouldn’t be considered for return. Kindly read details on our cancellation and returns page for more clarity.

3. What happens when you raise a dispute?

After you send us an email, our customer care representative will call you and guide you through the return process. We will ask the courier company to pick the product from your doorstep within 2-3 working days.

If you live in an area where courier services aren’t available, we ship there by Indian Post. In that case, you will need to send us the product through Indian post to our address available at contact us page. The charges will be borne by the customer in that case. But we will definitely refund the amount to you.

For international orders, you’ll have to send us the parcel yourself through a trusted courier service. We’re sorry but we won’t be able to pay the shipping cost.

4. Who will pay for the delivery charges?

For orders in India, we will pay for the delivery charges. You just need to hand over the parcel to the courier guy. It’s not applicable when delivery is done through Indian Post (we use Indian Post when you live in locations where FedEx or DTDC don’t deliver). For such orders by Indian Post and international orders, you will have to bear the shipping charges to return the order. For former, shipping money will also be refunded. For latter, no shipping charges will be reimbursed.

5. When will I get the refund?

The refund will be initiated after the courier guy picks up the product. For orders via credit card, debit card or any other prepaid method, the amount will be refunded within 3-4 working days after we receive the product in our warehouse. For orders via cash on delivery, the refund will be initiated after we have your bank account information for transfer. The amount will be refunded within 3-4 working days after we have the complete information to process the refund from your side.

Our team will call you as soon as we receive the product in our warehouse and then the given time period will start.

6. Can I return a part of my order?

Let us explain with an example. Say, you ordered for two different products and want to return one of those. Yes, you can definitely return one. But if you ordered 2 pieces of the same product, you cannot return one of those.

7. What items are non-refundable?

  1. Any stitched product can not be returned.
  2. If you damage the product or send us missing products, we won’t be able to process the refund in that case.


1. What are the shipping charges?

We provide free shipping all across India. For international shipping, we charge a flat rate of $22.85 (for any two pieces you order). Shipping cost for wholesale orders is applicable on all domestic and international orders and is negotiable.

2. What’s the estimated delivery time?

The estimated delivery time for domestic orders is 4-10 working days. The estimated delivery time for international orders is 10-15 working days. We ship the product within 2-3 working days after receiving the order.

3. How will the delivery be done?

We ship through the most trusted courier delivery services – DHL and FedEx. In India, the pin codes that do not have delivery services of FedEx, we ship through Indian Post.

4. Does Brijraj ship out of India?

Yes, we provide shipping worldwide.

5. How can I track my order delivery?

As soon as we ship the product, we send you an email with the tracking code. You can go to FedEx website and track your order then onwards.

6. How are items packaged?

We use standard packaging for all orders. It’s packaged carefully in a sturdy wrapper and shipped to you. You can also opt for gift wrapping facility. We charge extra for gift wrapping.

7. Who will be responsible for paying local taxes in case of delivery out of India?

Customs duty and any other international tax will be borne by the customer only.

8. What courier services you use for shipping and delivery?

In India, 90% of our orders are shipped via FedEx. Under rare circumstances, we use DTDC to make sure you get the products at the earliest. There are locations in India where FedEx and DTDC doesn’t deliver. We use Indian Speed Post to deliver in those areas.

For international deliveries, we use DHL.

9. Can I pick up the product from your shop?

Yes. You can order online, get some amazing discounts here and then pick the dress from our Chandni Chownk store after having a final look at it. Choose payment method as Cash on Delivery in that case.


1. How do I pay for purchase from Brijraj?

We offer you multiple payment methods. We’re one of the few e-commerce websites in India that use SSL encryption security as an added layer of security for our users. All the payment gateways used by Brijraj use strong encryption technologies, so you’ll never need to worry about losing sensitive data to any malicious parties.

You can use a debit card, credit card, Internet Banking and cash on delivery for payment in India. For international orders, you can pay via PayPal. We will soon add other payment methods for international shoppers.

2. What is Cash on Delivery? Is it available on all products? 

Cash on Delivery is an alternative payment method where you will have to pay the amount at the time of delivery. Please note that you cannot open the product without paying to the courier guy.

  1. Cash on Delivery is available for only domestic orders.
  2. Cash on Delivery isn’t applicable for stitched products.
  3. Any order that costs more than Rs. 5000, cash on delivery won’t be applicable.
